Bus

From Trieste, head to the main bus station, Stazione di Trieste. You can reach the station by taking a local bus or walking if you are nearby. Once at the bus station, look for a bus heading towards Aquileia. Buses such as 'Line 51' operate this route. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the 'Aquileia Centro' stop. From there, walk towards the Piazza Capitolo, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs to the archaeological sites, and you will find the Domus and Episcopal Palace located at Piazza Capitolo, 9.

Train and Bus

Start your journey at Trieste Centrale train station. Purchase a ticket to the nearest train station to Aquileia, which is 'Cervignano-Aquileia-Grado'. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Cervignano-Aquileia-Grado, transfer to a local bus towards Aquileia. Buses are usually available outside the train station. Get off at the 'Aquileia Centro' bus stop.
