From the main train station (Trieste Centrale), exit the station and head south on Via della Stazione. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach Piazza della Libertà. From there, continue straight onto Via Roma. After about 1 kilometer, you will arrive at Piazza Unità d'Italia. From the piazza, head southeast on Via della Cattedrale, and you will find yourself in the heart of Trieste city, surrounded by its beautiful architecture and vibrant atmosphere.

At the main train station (Trieste Centrale), head to the bus terminal located adjacent to the station. Look for bus line 20, which goes towards the city center.
