Public Transport
From the Trieste city center (Piazza Unità d'Italia), walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Corso Italia. Catch bus number 36 towards 'Monfalcone'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Faro della Vittoria' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Victory Lighthouse. Head southeast on Via Carlo Goldoni, then turn left onto Strada del Friuli. Continue straight, and you'll see the lighthouse ahead.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from Piazza Unità d'Italia and head towards Via XX Settembre. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront promenade (Riva Tre Novembre). Walk along the promenade towards the east, enjoying the view of the harbor. Continue on the promenade until you reach the end, then follow the signs leading up the hill towards the lighthouse. The walk is approximately 4 kilometers and will take around 1 hour, but the views are worth it!
