For those who prefer public transport, you can take the tram line 4 from Porta Nuova station. Board the tram heading towards 'Fermata Palazzo Nuovo.' After about 5 stops, get off at 'Fermata Montebello,' which is a short walk from Museo Egizio. Walk along Via Montebello, then turn right onto Via Accademia delle Scienze. The museum will be on your left at number 6. The tram ticket costs approximately €1.50 and is valid for 90 minutes.
