Walking
If you are in the city center, start at Piazza Castello. From there, head east toward Via Roma. Continue straight on this road until you reach the intersection with Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn left onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the river Po. Once you get to the river, turn right onto Lungopo, walking along the riverbank. After about 500 meters, you will see a bridge called Ponte Vittorio Emanuele I. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself on the other side of the river. Continue straight for another 200 meters, and you will see the impressive Chiesa Parrocchiale della Gran Madre di Dio on your left at Piazza Gran Madre di Dio.

If you prefer to take public transport, locate the nearest tram stop. Board tram line 13 or 15 at the nearest stop (for example, stop 'Castello') and head towards 'Gran Madre' station. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gran Madre stop, exit the tram and walk a short distance to your right to reach Piazza Gran Madre di Dio, where the church is located.
