If you are starting from Porta Nuova Train Station, exit the station and head towards Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Piazza Carlo Alberto. From there, turn left onto Via Roma and continue straight until you reach Piazza Castello. The square will be directly in front of you.

From Porta Nuova, take the Metro Line 1 (the red line) in the direction of Fermi. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Re Umberto'. Exit the station and walk straight onto Via Cernaia, then turn right onto Via Roma. Continue walking straight until you reach Piazza Castello.

From the city center, find a tram stop and take Tram Line 4 in the direction of 'Fermata Milano'. Get off at the 'Piazza Castello' stop. The square will be right in front of you, and you can enjoy the view of the surrounding historical buildings.
