Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from Porta Nuova Train Station, exit the station and head towards Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Piazza Carlo Alberto. From there, turn left onto Via Roma and continue straight until you reach Piazza Castello. The square will be directly in front of you.

Public Transport - Metro

From Porta Nuova, take the Metro Line 1 (the red line) in the direction of Fermi. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Re Umberto'. Exit the station and walk straight onto Via Cernaia, then turn right onto Via Roma. Continue walking straight until you reach Piazza Castello.

Public Transport - Tram

From the city center, find a tram stop and take Tram Line 4 in the direction of 'Fermata Milano'. Get off at the 'Piazza Castello' stop. The square will be right in front of you, and you can enjoy the view of the surrounding historical buildings.

Walking from Mole Antonelliana

If you are at Mole Antonelliana, exit the building and head towards Via Montebello. Turn left onto Via Po and continue walking until you reach Piazza Castello. It's about a 10-minute walk, and you will enjoy the scenic views along the way.
