Car
From Perugia, take the SS75 towards Assisi. Continue on SS75 for approximately 20 km. Take the exit for Assisi and merge onto the SP424. Follow the signs for Assisi and drive into the town. As you approach Assisi, follow signs for Mount Subasio. Once in Assisi, head towards Loc. Cà Piombino, where Mount Subasio is located. Look for parking areas available near the trailheads.
Public Transportation
From the Perugia train station, take a regional train to Assisi, which takes about 30 minutes. Once in Assisi, exit the train station and look for the bus stop. Take bus number 5 or 6 towards Mount Subasio. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the stop near Loc. Cà Piombino, where you can find trails leading up to Mount Subasio.
Walking
If you are already in Assisi, you can walk to Mount Subasio. Start from the main square, Piazza del Comune, and head towards Via San Francesco. Follow the signs leading to the park area. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of walking to reach the trails at Loc. Cà Piombino where you can begin your hike up Mount Subasio.
