From the center of Urbino, head towards the main entrance of the Palazzo Ducale. Once you reach the palazzo, walk downhill towards Via Raffaello. Continue straight along this street until you reach the intersection with Via Bramante. Turn left onto Via Bramante and follow the street as it curves to the right. Keep walking until you see the signs for Cagli. Follow this direction, which will take you to Via dell'Università, leading you out of Urbino. This path will eventually lead you to the outskirts of the city.

Continue on Via dell'Università until you reach the junction with SP3. At this point, you can either take a bus or keep walking. If you choose to walk, continue straight along SP3 for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach a sign indicating the direction to Cagli.

If you prefer to take public transportation, from the main bus station in Urbino, look for buses heading to Cagli. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Cagli, disembark at the main bus stop.

After arriving in Cagli, exit the bus station and walk towards the town center. Follow the signs directing you to Centro Pianello. It’s a short walk from the bus stop to the center, taking around 15 minutes. You will arrive at Centro Pianello where Arco di Fondarca is located.
