Walking
From the center of Urbino, start at Piazza della Repubblica. Head southeast on Via Raffaello, then take a left onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with SS73. Cross the road and follow the signs towards Piticchio. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see signs for Castello Medievale di Piticchio. Follow the path leading uphill towards the castle, which will be on your right.

From Urbino, walk to the nearest bus stop, located at the edge of Piazza della Repubblica. Take the bus line heading towards 'Piticchio'. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Piticchio' stop. From there, follow Via Piticchio in the direction of the castle. It’s a short walk of about 10 minutes uphill to reach Castello Medievale di Piticchio.
