Walking
From the center of Urbino, head towards Via Raffaello. Continue straight onto Via Vittorio Veneto. After about 500 meters, you will reach the bus station. Take the bus to 'Loretello'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Loretello, walk towards Frazione Loretello, and follow the signs for Loretello Castle, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Urbino. Start from the city center and head southeast towards Via Raffaello, then take the bike path along the SS73. Follow the road signs towards Loretello. The distance is approximately 10 kilometers, and the ride will take about 40 minutes. Once you reach Loretello, park your bike and walk to the castle which is a short distance away.
Public Transport
From Urbino, go to the main bus station located near the city center. Look for the bus route that goes to Loretello. Buses run several times a day, and the journey will take around 30 minutes. After arriving in Loretello, exit the bus and follow the road signs towards Frazione Loretello. The castle is located at Frazione Loretello, 33, and is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
