If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Pienza. Head northwest on Via C. Battisti toward Via A. Fioravanti. Continue on SP146 to SP71. Follow SP71 for about 3 km. You will see signs for Castello di Cosona. Turn right onto the dirt road leading to the castle entrance. Parking is available near the castle.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Pienza to Montepulciano. From the bus station in Pienza, check the schedule for the next bus to Montepulciano (usually operated by SITA). Once in Montepulciano, you will need to take a taxi to Castello di Cosona, as public transport options are limited. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and should cost around €20.
