Car
If you are driving from the center of Susa, head south on Via Cavour towards Strada Statale 25. Continue on SS25 for approximately 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Exilles. Turn right onto SP23, which leads you directly to the Forte di Exilles. There is parking available near the fortress, but please check for any potential fees.
Public Transportation
From Susa, take the train from Susa train station towards Oulx. Get off at the Exilles station. From the train station, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) or take a local bus (check the local bus schedule for timings) to reach the Forte di Exilles. The bus stop is located near the train station.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the Exilles train station to the Forte di Exilles, exit the station and head north on Via Stazione. Follow the road until you reach a fork, bear left onto Via del Forte, which will lead you directly to the fortress. It is a scenic route that takes about 30 minutes.
