Car
From Valdarno, head southeast on the A1 motorway towards Florence. Take exit 8 towards Firenze Sud and merge onto Via del Gignoro. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Via di Villamagna. Turn left onto Via di Villamagna, then take a right onto Via de' Bassi. Follow the road until you reach Largo Enrico Fermi. The Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory will be on your right.

Public Transportation
From Valdarno, take a train to Florence Santa Maria Novella (SMN) station. Once at SMN, transfer to the tram line T2 (to Firenze Peretola) and get off at the 'Piazza della Libertà' stop. From there, catch bus line 11 towards 'Piazza della Libertà' and get off at 'Largo Enrico Fermi.' The observatory will be a short walk from the bus stop.

If you find yourself in the vicinity of the observatory after taking public transportation, simply walk from the bus stop at 'Largo Enrico Fermi' by heading southeast on Largo Enrico Fermi until you reach the entrance of the Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory.
