    From Valdarno, head southeast on the A1 motorway towards Florence. Take exit 8 towards Firenze Sud and merge onto Via del Gignoro. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Via di Villamagna. Turn left onto Via di Villamagna, then take a right onto Via de' Bassi. Follow the road until you reach Largo Enrico Fermi. The Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory will be on your right.
