Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey in Aosta. Make your way to Strada Saumont by following the signs for 'Parco Saumont'. From the center of Aosta, head southeast on Via Monte Grappa, then turn right onto Via San Giovanni. Continue onto Strada Statale 26 (SS26) and follow the signs for Strada Saumont. The park will be on your left at Strada Saumont, 6, 11100 Aosta AO. Parking is available near the entrance, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Parco Saumont using public transportation, take a bus from Aosta's main bus station. Look for buses heading towards 'Aosta - Saumont'. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Strada Saumont. From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for the latest information on routes and fares, as prices can vary.
Walking
If you're staying nearby in Aosta, you can also walk to Parco Saumont. Start from the main square in Aosta (Piazza Chanoux) and head southeast along Via Monte Grappa. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Strada Statale 26. Cross the road and follow the signs towards Strada Saumont. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and will take about 25-30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way as you make your way to the park.
