Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, navigate towards Venice using the A4 highway. Take the exit for Venezia and follow signs for Piazzale Roma. Once you arrive at Piazzale Roma, parking is available at various garages (e.g., Garage San Marco). Be prepared to pay approximately €30-€40 for a day's parking. From Piazzale Roma, you cannot drive further into the city, so you'll need to walk or take public transport. Head towards the Vaporetto (water bus) stop at Piazzale Roma.

• Vaporetto

  Once at the Vaporetto stop, take Line 1 towards Lido. Get off at the stop called 'Accademia'. From Accademia, you will walk to Campo Santa Margherita. Head in the direction of the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute and continue straight along the Calle della Madonna. Follow this road until you reach Campo Santa Margherita, which will be on your left. The total time from Piazzale Roma to Campo Santa Margherita will be approximately 25-30 minutes.

• Public Transport (Train)

  If you are arriving in Venice by train, disembark at Venezia Santa Lucia station. Exit the station and head to the nearby Vaporetto stop. Take Line 1 towards Lido and get off at the 'Accademia' stop. From there, follow the same walking directions as mentioned above to reach Campo Santa Margherita.

• Walking

  If you are already within Venice and wish to walk to Campo Santa Margherita, it is accessible by foot from various locations. For example, from the Rialto Bridge, it takes approximately 20 minutes. Simply head southwest along the Calle dei Stagneri, continue onto the Calle de le Botteghe, and follow the signs for Campo Santa Margherita. This route will take you through some charming streets and canals typical of Venice.
