Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, you can reach CastelBrando from various locations in Veneto. From Venice, take the A27 motorway towards Belluno. After approximately 50 km, take exit 13 for Cison di Valmarino. Follow the signs towards Cison di Valmarino, which is about 10 km from the exit. Once in the town, follow Via Pietro Mascagni to reach CastelBrando. Parking is available nearby, but watch for any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Transportation

  To reach CastelBrando using public transportation, first take a train from Venice to Treviso Centrale. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. From Treviso, take a bus (line 10) to Cison di Valmarino. The bus ride will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Cison di Valmarino, it’s a short walk to CastelBrando on Via Pietro Mascagni. Be sure to check the local bus schedule in advance as services may vary.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a rideshare service from Treviso or Venice. This option is more expensive but provides convenience, especially if you are traveling with a group. The journey from Treviso to CastelBrando should take around 30 minutes by car, while from Venice it may take about an hour depending on traffic. Expect to pay between €60-€100 for the trip from Venice.

• Walking

  If you're staying in Cison di Valmarino or nearby, walking to CastelBrando is a pleasant option. The castle is situated on a hill, so be prepared for a short uphill walk. From the town center, it will take approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the castle by foot.
