Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Santa Lucia Train Station (Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia), exit the station and head straight towards the main canal (Canal Grande). Cross over the Scalzi Bridge (Ponte degli Scalzi) to the opposite side. Once across, turn left and walk along the canal promenade (Fondamenta) until you reach the Piazzale Roma. From Piazzale Roma, keep walking straight towards the large square where you will see the bus terminal and taxi ranks. Continue straight until you see the large white bridge, known as the Constitution Bridge (Ponte de la Costituzione). It will be on your right. This walk should take about 20-30 minutes.

  • Water Bus (Vaporetto)

    From various points in Venice, such as San Marco or Rialto, you can take a Vaporetto (water bus) line 1 or 2 towards Piazzale Roma. Get off at the stop named 'Piazzale Roma'. Once you disembark, follow the signs towards the Constitution Bridge (Ponte de la Costituzione). It is a short walk of about 5 minutes from the Vaporetto stop. Just keep walking straight, and the bridge will be visible.

  • Walking from St. Mark's Square

    From St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), head towards the waterfront and turn left along the Riva degli Schiavoni. Walk along the waterfront until you reach the end of the promenade, then turn right towards the Ponte della Libertà. Continue walking straight until you reach Piazzale Roma. The Constitution Bridge (Ponte de la Costituzione) will be on your left, just after you cross the large square.
