Walking
If you are near the Rialto Bridge, you can start your walk to Doge's Palace. Head south along the Calle dei Cinque, which will lead you to the Piazza San Marco. As you approach the piazza, keep an eye out for the impressive basilica and the tall bell tower. Doge's Palace is located right on the piazza, at P.za San Marco, 1. It's hard to miss the ornate architecture of the palace.

From the Accademia Gallery, walk across the Accademia Bridge (Ponte dell'Accademia) towards the San Marco area. Once you reach the other side, turn right and follow the signs towards Piazza San Marco. As you enter the piazza, Doge's Palace will be directly in front of you.

If you are coming from the train station (Santa Lucia), exit and head towards the Vaporetto stop (water bus) at Ferrovia. Take the Line 1 Vaporetto towards San Marco. Get off at the San Marco Vallaresso stop. From there, it's a short walk to Piazza San Marco. Doge's Palace is located at the far end of the square.
