Experience Giardini della Biennale

Getting There

  • Vaporetto (Water Bus)

    From the main tourist hub, Piazzale Roma or Santa Lucia train station, board a Vaporetto on Line 1 or Line 5. If starting at Piazzale Roma, take Line 1 towards Lido. If starting from Santa Lucia, you can also take Line 1 or Line 5 in the same direction. Disembark at the Giardini stop. From the Vaporetto stop, walk towards the entrance of Giardini della Biennale, which is located at Calle Giazzo.

  • Walking

    If you are near St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), walk east toward the Arsenale area. Head along Riva degli Schiavoni and cross the Bridge of Sighs. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Garibaldi. Turn left onto Via Garibaldi and then right onto Calle Giazzo. Follow Calle Giazzo, and you will find the entrance to Giardini della Biennale.

  • Bus (Actv)

    If you are staying in the Mestre area, take the Actv bus to Venice. Get off at Piazzale Roma. From there, follow the Vaporetto instructions or walk to the nearest Vaporetto stop and board Line 1 or Line 5 towards Giardini.
