If you are starting from the iconic Piazza San Marco (St. Mark's Square), head east towards the Grand Canal. Once you reach the canal, turn left and walk along the water. Continue walking past the famous Rialto Bridge until you see the vaporetto (water bus) stop. Take the vaporetto towards San Toma. After a short ride, disembark at the San Toma stop. From there, head straight down the Calle del Traghetto and take a right onto Calle dei Nomboli. Continue straight until you reach S. Marco, 2847.

If you are near the Grand Canal, find the nearest vaporetto stop. Take Line 1 (the main line) towards Piazzale Roma or Line 2 towards San Marco. Disembark at the San Toma stop. From there, exit the vaporetto and turn left onto Calle del Traghetto. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Calle dei Nomboli, then turn right. Continue straight until you arrive at Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti located at S. Marco, 2847.
