Getting There

    If you are starting from St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), head towards the Basilica di San Marco. As you face the basilica, walk to your left along the side of the building until you reach the end of the square. Continue walking along the waterfront promenade (Riva degli Schiavoni) until you see the Ponte della Paglia. Cross the bridge and turn left onto the Calle di Palazzo. Continue straight along this narrow street, which will take you to the canal. Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti will be on your right at S. Marco, 2847.

  • Water Transport

    If you are near the Grand Canal, find a Vaporetto (water bus) stop. Take the Vaporetto Line 1 (towards San Marco) from any stop. Get off at the 'S. Marco - Vallaresso' stop. After disembarking, walk towards the waterfront and turn left. Continue walking along the canal until you reach the Ponte di Cavalli. Cross the bridge, and Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti will be located on your right at S. Marco, 2847.
