    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are near the Santa Lucia Train Station (Venezia Santa Lucia), head out of the station and walk towards the Grand Canal. Upon exiting, you will see the bustling Piazzale Roma. From there, take the bridge on your right towards the Grand Canal. As you cross the bridge, keep walking straight along the canal. After a short stroll, you will see the Ponte degli Scalzi directly ahead.

    Vaporetto (Water Bus)

    From anywhere in Venice, you can take the Vaporetto to the 'Ferrovia' stop, which is the nearest water bus stop to Ponte degli Scalzi. Once you disembark, turn left and walk towards the Grand Canal. You will soon see the bridge. It's a short walk of about 5 minutes.

    Walking

    If you are at the famous Rialto Bridge, start by walking away from the bridge towards the San Polo area. Take the Calle dei Cinque (a narrow street) and follow it until you reach the Grand Canal. Upon reaching the canal, turn right and walk along the waterfront. Continue walking straight until you reach Ponte degli Scalzi, which will be on your left.

    From St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), head towards the waterfront and follow the signs for the water taxis or Vaporetto. Take the Vaporetto to 'Ferrovia' or walk approximately 30 minutes along the San Marco waterfront, following the signs towards the train station. Upon reaching the Grand Canal, Ponte degli Scalzi will be directly ahead of you.
