From anywhere in Venice, you can take the Vaporetto to the 'Ferrovia' stop, which is the nearest water bus stop to Ponte degli Scalzi. Once you disembark, turn left and walk towards the Grand Canal. You will soon see the bridge. It's a short walk of about 5 minutes.

If you are at the famous Rialto Bridge, start by walking away from the bridge towards the San Polo area. Take the Calle dei Cinque (a narrow street) and follow it until you reach the Grand Canal.
