Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Piazza San Marco, head to the east side of the square and exit through the archway towards the waterfront. Walk along the Riva degli Schiavoni promenade, keeping the water on your left. Continue straight past the Basilica di San Marco and the Doge's Palace. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach the Ponte della Paglia. Cross this bridge, then take a left onto Calle della Canonica. Walk straight until you reach Campo San Zaccaria. Continue through the campo and exit onto Campo San Giovanni in Bragora. Follow the signs towards the church of San Giovanni in Bragora and then turn left on Calle del Paradiso. Continue straight until you reach San Giovanni in Bragora. From there, take a right onto Calle del Vescovado, which leads you directly to Ponte dei Frati.

  • Water Transport

    Begin your journey at the nearest Vaporetto stop, which could be either San Marco or Giardini. Board the Vaporetto that heads to the nearest stop to Ponte dei Frati, which is the San Zaccaria stop. Upon disembarking, exit the Vaporetto and head towards the left along Calle de l'Ospedale. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle del Paradiso; turn left here. Walk straight for a few minutes until you arrive at San Giovanni in Bragora. From San Giovanni in Bragora, take a right onto Calle del Vescovado. Follow this street until you reach Ponte dei Frati.

    Starting at the Rialto Bridge, navigate through the narrow streets by heading away from the bridge towards Campo San Giacomo.
