Walking
If you are near Piazza San Marco, start by walking towards the waterfront along the Riva degli Schiavoni. Keep the water on your left and head west. You will pass the famous Doge's Palace and the Bell Tower. Continue along until you reach the Ponte della Paglia, then cross the small bridge. After crossing, follow the signs towards Campo Santa Maria del Giglio. Once you reach Campo Santa Maria del Giglio, take the narrow street on the left (Calle del Dose) and continue straight until you reach Campo S. Vidal. The Ponte dell'Accademia will be visible from the square.

Vaporetto (Water Bus)
From any Vaporetto stop along the Grand Canal, board the Vaporetto heading towards 'Accademia'. If you are at the Ferrovia (Train Station), take Line 1 or Line 2 towards San Marco. Get off at the 'Accademia' stop. Once you disembark, walk straight towards the bridge. You will see the Ponte dell'Accademia directly ahead of you, just a short walk away.

Walking from Rialto
If you are starting from the Rialto Bridge, head south through the bustling markets of Rialto. Continue down the Calle dei Cinque. Turn left onto Calle della Mandola, which will lead you into Campo San Polo. From here, take a left onto Calle del Traghetto and follow it as it curves to the right. Continue until you reach Campo S. Vidal, where you will find the Ponte dell'Accademia directly ahead.

If you are visiting the Gallerie dell'Accademia, exit the museum and turn left towards the Grand Canal. As you reach the canal, you will see the Ponte dell'Accademia just across the water. Simply walk towards the bridge, and you'll arrive in just a few minutes.
