Walking
If you are in the area of the Rialto Bridge, head south towards the Grand Canal. Once you reach the Grand Canal, turn left and walk along the water until you reach the Vaporetto stop called 'San Marco'. From there, take the Vaporetto Line 1 towards 'Lido' and get off at the 'San Marco' stop. Once you disembark, walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes until you reach P.za San Marco, where you will see the stunning Saint Mark's Basilica.

If you are near the Accademia Gallery, head towards the Accademia Bridge and cross over the Grand Canal. Once you are on the opposite side, turn right and follow the narrow streets heading towards the Piazza San Marco. Look for signs pointing to 'San Marco' and continue walking straight. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes, and you will eventually arrive at the magnificent Saint Mark's Basilica.

If you are at the train station (Santa Lucia), walk to the nearby Vaporetto stop called 'Ferrovia'. Take the Vaporetto Line 1 heading towards 'San Marco'. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'San Marco' stop and walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes. You will arrive at P.za San Marco, where Saint Mark's Basilica is located.
