Vaporetto (Water Bus)
To reach Sottomarina in Chioggia from Venice, head to the nearest Vaporetto stop. If you are at St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), walk towards the Vaporetto stop at San Zaccaria. Board the Vaporetto line 14, which goes to Chioggia. Enjoy the scenic ride along the lagoon, which will take approximately 45 minutes. Upon arriving at the Chioggia Vaporetto stop, exit the boat and walk towards the city center. From there, follow signs toward Sottomarina, which is about a 20-minute walk straight down Corso del Popolo. You will see signs for Sottomarina along the way.

The train journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Chioggia's train station, you can either walk or take a local bus to Sottomarina. The walk will take about 30 minutes, heading south along Via S. Domenico and then following the signs toward Sottomarina.
