Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Rialto Bridge, head towards the San Marco area by walking along the Calle dei Fabbri. Keep going straight until you reach the intersection with the Fondamenta del Vin. Turn left and continue straight along the waterfront. You will see signs directing you towards St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco). Once you reach the square, you will see St. Mark’s Basilica and the museum is located right next to it at P.za San Marco, 328.

  • Vaporetto (Water Bus)

    If you are near the Grand Canal, you can take the Vaporetto Line 1 or Line 2. Board at the nearest stop to you, and head towards 'San Marco'. Get off at the 'San Marco Vallaresso' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco). The museum is located at P.za San Marco, 328, right next to St. Mark's Basilica.

  • Walking

    From the Accademia Bridge, take the Salizada San Samuele street towards Campo San Fantin. Continue walking until you reach the ‘Teatro La Fenice’. From there, head south towards the ‘Piazza San Marco’. Once you reach the square, look for St. Mark’s Basilica. The St. Mark’s Museum is located adjacent to it at P.za San Marco, 328.

    If you are at the Santa Lucia Train Station, exit the station and head towards the water. Take the Vaporetto Line 1 and get off at 'San Marco Vallaresso'.
