Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the vicinity of St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), head east towards the Grand Canal. From St. Mark's Basilica, walk down the Calle del Ridotto until you reach the canal. Turn left and follow the waterfront, keeping the Grand Canal on your right. After about a 10-minute walk, you will come to the nearby Campo S. Fantin. Teatro La Fenice will be directly ahead at Campo S. Fantin, 1965.

    If you are further away, you can take the Vaporetto Line 1 from any nearby stop along the Grand Canal. Get off at the 'Sant’Angelo' stop. After disembarking, walk straight down the Calle Sant’Angelo, then turn left onto Calle del Teatro. Continue straight until you reach Campo S. Fantin. Teatro La Fenice will be at the corner on your right.

  • Walking from Rialto Bridge

    From the Rialto Bridge, head southwest towards the Rialto Market. Walk through the market area and continue straight until you reach Campo San Bartolomeo. From there, take the Calle Larga dei Bari towards the Grand Canal, then turn left at the canal. Follow the canal path until you see a small bridge; cross it to enter Campo S. Fantin, where Teatro La Fenice is located.

    If you are near the Accademia Bridge, walk east along the canal until you reach the intersection with the Calle delle Botteghe. Turn right and then take the first left into Calle del Traghetto. Continue to Campo S. Fantin, where you will find Teatro La Fenice at number 1965.
