Walking
If you are already in the San Marco area, you can reach Museo Correr by walking. Start at the famous St. Mark's Basilica (Basilica di San Marco). Exit the basilica and head towards the square (Piazza San Marco). From there, walk towards the left side of the square, where you will see the Museo Correr entrance directly adjacent to the basilica. The address is P.za San Marco, 52, 30124 Venezia VE. The museum is clearly marked, and you can easily identify it by the columns and architecture.
Public Transport (Vaporetto)
If you are coming from further away in Venice, you can use the Vaporetto (water bus) service. Find the nearest Vaporetto stop and take Line 1 or Line 2 towards 'San Marco'. Disembark at the 'San Marco Vallaresso' stop. From there, follow the signs towards Piazza San Marco, which is a short 5-minute walk. Once at the square, Museo Correr is located on the left side as you face St. Mark's Basilica. Note that Vaporetto tickets cost around €7.50 for a single ride.
Bicycle Rental
While Venice is not a bike-friendly city due to its canals, if you're staying nearby in a less crowded area, you might consider renting a bicycle to ride to a Vaporetto station. Once you reach a Vaporetto stop, park your bike and take Line 1 or Line 2 to 'San Marco Vallaresso'. After disembarking, walk towards Piazza San Marco and locate Museo Correr on your left. Remember that renting a bike can vary in cost, typically around €15 for a few hours.
