Getting There

  • Bus

    From the city center of Verona, head to the Verona Porta Nuova train station. You can take Bus number 163 towards 'Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo'. The bus stop is located just outside the train station. Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes until you reach the stop 'Pai'. Once you get off at Pai, walk towards 'Via Monte Baldo'. Follow the signs leading to the hiking trails where Grotta Tanella is located.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Verona. Head towards the Adige River and follow the bike paths along the river northwards until you reach the outskirts of Pai. The ride takes about an hour and will lead you through beautiful scenery. Once in Pai, navigate to 'Via Monte Baldo', and look for the signs to Grotta Tanella.
