Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start at the Verona Porta Nuova train station. From there, take bus line 11 towards 'Peschiera del Garda'. The bus departs frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. Ride the bus for approximately 25 minutes and get off at the stop 'Solferino'. Once you exit the bus, follow the signs to 'Ossario di Solferino', which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. You will need to head northeast on Via Ossario, and you will reach the ossuary located within the park.

    If you are starting from the Piazza Bra, walk towards the Verona Arena. From there, head south on Via Roma until you reach Corso Porta Nuova. From the bus stop, walk northeast on Via Ossario for about 10 minutes to reach the Ossuary of Solferino.
