Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the famous Arena di Verona, head east on Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Bra. From there, take Via Giuseppe Mazzini, a pedestrian street filled with shops and cafes. Keep walking until you reach Piazza delle Erbe, where you'll find a beautiful market. From Piazza delle Erbe, take Via Sottoriva, which leads you to the Adige River. Cross the river using the Ponte Pietra bridge. Once across, follow the riverbank on the left side until you reach the intersection with Via Leoni. Turn right onto Via Leoni, and walk a short distance to find Porta Leoni on your left.

    From Verona Porta Nuova Train Station, take bus line 11 or 12 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Bra'. From Piazza Bra, walk east along Via Giuseppe Mazzini until you reach Piazza delle Erbe. Next, proceed along Via Sottoriva towards the Adige River, cross the Ponte Pietra bridge, and then follow the riverbank. When you reach the intersection with Via Leoni, turn right and continue walking until you see Porta Leoni on your left.
