Car
If you are driving, head towards Viareggio in Versilia. From the A12 motorway, take the exit for Viareggio and follow the signs towards the city center. Once you reach the center, look for signs directing you to 'Terrazza della Repubblica'. Bagno Lelia is located at Terrazza della Repubblica, 21, 55049 Viareggio. There are several public parking areas nearby, but be aware that parking may incur a fee, typically around €1.50 per hour.
Train and Walk
For those using public transport, take a train to Viareggio station. Trains run frequently from major cities such as Florence and Pisa. Once you arrive at Viareggio station, exit and head towards the bus stop located just outside the station. You can catch a local bus (Bus Line 1, direction Lido di Camaiore) that will take you to the 'Piazza Mazzini' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Bagno Lelia. Head down 'Viale Giosuè Carducci' towards the sea, and then turn right onto 'Terrazza della Repubblica'. Bagno Lelia will be on your left.
Bus
Another option is to take a regional bus. From nearby towns in Versilia, check the local bus schedules to find a line that goes to Viareggio, such as the 'CPT' bus service. Once you arrive at Viareggio, use the same directions as mentioned above for walking from 'Piazza Mazzini' to Bagno Lelia.
Use Bagno Lelia as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
