Getting There

  If you are driving from Great Morass to White Sands Negril, start by heading west on the A2 highway (also known as the North Coast Highway) towards Negril. Continue on the A2 for approximately 15 kilometers (about 9 miles). As you approach Negril, look for signs indicating the turn onto Norman Manley Blvd. Turn right onto Norman Manley Blvd, and you will see White Sands Negril located on your left side. Parking is available on-site, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Transportation

  To reach White Sands Negril using public transportation, you can take a 'route taxi' or a minibus from Great Morass heading towards Negril. These are typically found at designated taxi stands. Make sure to confirm that the taxi is going to Negril before boarding. The fare is usually around JMD 200-300 (subject to change) per person. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Negril, ask the driver to drop you off at Norman Manley Blvd. From there, White Sands Negril is just a short walk away, located at the address: Norman Manley Blvd, Negril.

  If you prefer a combination of transportation methods, you can drive or take a taxi from Great Morass to a point where you can catch a route taxi to Negril. For example, you can drive to a nearby town like Savanna-la-Mar and then take a route taxi to Negril. The taxi ride from Savanna-la-Mar to Negril will cost approximately JMD 300-400 and take about 20-30 minutes. Upon arrival in Negril, follow the same instructions for walking to White Sands Negril from Norman Manley Blvd.
