From your location in the John Crow Mountains, head towards the A3 highway. If you're near the Blue Mountains area, take the road towards the east until you reach the intersection with the A3. Once on the A3, drive north towards Ocho Rios. After approximately 20-30 minutes, look for signs marking the turn-off for The Original Blue Hole. You’ll need to turn right onto a smaller road leading into Lodge. Continue driving until you reach 9WCX+V68, where you will see signs for The Original Blue Hole. There is a parking fee of approximately $5 USD.

To reach The Original Blue Hole using public transportation, first find a local taxi or bus that goes to Ocho Rios. From your starting point in the John Crow Mountains, you may need to take a local taxi to the nearest bus stop on the A3 highway. Once on the bus to Ocho Rios, inform the driver that you are going to The Original Blue Hole. They will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi for the final stretch to 9WCX+V68. The bus fare is usually around $2-3 USD, and the taxi for the last part may cost an additional $10 USD.
