Note that there might be local signs pointing towards Hope Bay or Rio Grande River Rafting. The rafting location is approximately 8 miles east of the marina, so you may need to ask locals for directions or look for a local bus or taxi to get you closer to Hope Bay.

From the center of Port Antonio, walk to the main bus station located near the Port Antonio Market. Look for a bus heading towards Hope Bay. The buses are typically marked with their destination. Confirm with the driver that they will take you to Hope Bay. The bus ride is about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Hope Bay, ask locals for the specific location of the Rio Grande River Rafting, which is near the river.

If you enjoy cycling, consider renting a bicycle from a local shop in Port Antonio. Head east on William St towards Harbour St and then follow the coastal road.
