If you are driving, start from the center of Port Maria and head east on Main Street (A4) towards Oracabessa. Continue for approximately 6 km. Once you reach Oracabessa, look for the sign for Murdock Public Bathing Beach (C22X+QCH). The entrance will be on your left. There is usually no parking fee, but be sure to check for any local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Murdock Public Bathing Beach via public transportation, you can take a route taxi from the Port Maria bus terminal. Look for a taxi heading towards Oracabessa. The fare is typically around JMD 200-300 per person. Inform the driver that you want to go to Murdock Public Bathing Beach. After about 15-20 minutes of travel, the driver will drop you off at the nearest point to the beach entrance, which is C22X+QCH. From there, it's a short walk to the beach.
