Getting there

Car

From Port Maria, head west on the A3 highway towards Ocho Rios. After approximately 6 kilometers, take the exit onto the B2 towards Silver Sands. Continue on the B2 for about 15 kilometers. When you reach Kellits, look for signs directing you to Unnamed Rd. Turn right onto Unnamed Rd, and follow it for about 2 kilometers until you reach Tacky Falls. Parking is available near the entrance. Note that there may be a small entrance fee to access the falls.

Public Transportation (Bus)

Start at the Port Maria bus terminal and take a bus heading towards Kingston. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Kellits. The bus ride will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Kellits, you can hire a taxi to take you to Tacky Falls, which is approximately 5-10 minutes away. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the ride. Expect to pay around 500-700 JMD for the taxi.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Port Maria straight to Tacky Falls. Inform the driver of your destination, and the trip will take about 30-40 minutes. The cost of the taxi ride will typically range from 2000-3000 JMD, depending on the time of day and negotiation skills. Ensure to confirm the fare before you start your journey.
