From Black River, head southeast on the Parottee main road. The drive is approximately 10 minutes. Follow the signs for Parottee Bay. Free parking is available near the beach entrance. Be aware that the parking lot can fill up quickly during peak season.

From the Black River Transportation Centre, take a route taxi towards Parottee. Route taxis are a common and affordable way to get around Jamaica. Confirm with the driver that they are going to Parottee Bay. The journey is short. As of October 2023, taxi fares consist of a base fare of JMD 113 plus JMD 7 per kilometer. The total fare will depend on the exact distance, and is rounded to the nearest JMD 10.
