If you're driving from Aomori City, head south on Route 4 (also known as the Hachinohe-Aomori Road) towards the Aomori Interchange. After about 20 km, take the exit for Route 7 towards Iwaki. Continue on Route 7 for approximately 10 km until you reach the sign for Mt. Iwaki Observatory. Follow the signs and drive up the mountain road for about 7 km.
