Car
If you are driving from Aomori City, take the Tohoku Expressway (Aomori Expressway) towards Towada. Exit at the Towada Interchange and follow Route 102 towards Towada City. From there, follow the signs to Oirase-keiryū gorge. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Keep in mind there may be tolls on the expressway, so be prepared with cash or an ETC card.

Public Transportation - Bus
From Aomori Station, take the JR Bus headed towards Towada. The bus ride will take approximately 2 hours. Once you reach Towada Station, transfer to a local bus heading to Oirase-keiryū gorge (Oirase Line). The bus ride from Towada Station to the gorge takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as the frequency may vary.

Public Transportation - Train and Bus
Take the JR Ou Line from Aomori Station to Towada Station (approx. 1.5 hours). From Towada Station, transfer to a bus that goes to Oirase-keiryū gorge. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. Again, check the bus schedules as they may not run frequently.
