If you're driving, start from Bizen City Center and head south on Route 2 towards Himeji. Continue on Route 2 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Himeji. Once you enter Himeji, follow the signs for Himeji Castle, which will guide you to Honmachi. The castle is located at 68 Honmachi, and there are several parking areas nearby. Look for signs indicating public parking as you approach the castle.
Public Transportation
To reach Himeji Castle via public transport, take a train from Bizen to Himeji Station. You can take the JR Sanyo Line, which provides direct service. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Himeji Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus terminal. Take bus number 4 or 6 towards Himeji Castle. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Himeji Castle' stop, and you will be just a short walk away from the entrance at 68 Honmachi.
