Bizen Pottery Walking Tour with Local Guide & Flexible Options

Bizen pottery tour

Absolutely wonderful tour of the Bizen ancient kiln site, Amatsu shrine, local pottery shops and galleries. Our local guide Remi, was very knowledgeable (her husband is a potter), extremely friendly and so helpful with all our questions and translating needs. She was one of the many highlights of the tour! I also highly recommend lunch at Matsumoto cafeteria. A small family run restaurant, exceptional quality, great service and value. If you are interested in Japanese pottery and/or looking for authentic pieces, Bizen is an absolute must, and we loved this tour. Thanks Remi!
