Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Etchu and head towards Route 141. Follow Route 141 for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach Hokuto City. Look for signs indicating Makiba Park as you approach the area. Turn onto Nishiiide Road (西井出道) and continue for about 3 kilometers. The park entrance will be on your right. Note that parking is available on-site, and there may be a nominal parking fee of around 500 yen.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Makiba Park via public transportation, first take a bus from Etchu Station. Look for the bus service heading towards Hokuto City, specifically the route that goes to Oizumi Town (大泉町). The journey takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Oizumi Town, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the park. Follow the signs leading to Makiba Park, or use a map application for precise directions. Be aware that bus tickets typically cost around 600 yen.
