Getting There

• Public Transport

  Several subway lines provide convenient access to Tokyo Tower. From Onarimon Station (Mita Subway Line), Akabanebashi Station (Oedo Subway Line), or Kamiyacho Station (Hibiya Subway Line), it's a 5-10 minute walk to the tower. Alternatively, a 15-20 minute walk from Hamamatsucho Station on the JR Yamanote Line or Daimon Station on the Asakusa or Oedo subway lines will get you there. A 24-hour Tokyo Subway Ticket costs approximately ¥800. Expect to pay around ¥180 or more for a single subway ride.

• Walking

  From Zojo-ji Temple, walk past the temple's main gate and continue straight. A narrow path lined with trees and Jizos (guardian deities of children) will lead to a wide road. Cross the road, and Tokyo Tower will be visible. This walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.

• Taxi

  Taxis are readily available throughout Tokyo. A short taxi ride from nearby locations such as Roppongi or Ginza to Tokyo Tower typically costs between ¥700 to ¥1500, depending on traffic and distance. Ensure the taxi uses the meter for accurate fare calculation.

• Driving

  Tokyo Tower is accessible by car, located 7 minutes from the Shiba-koen Exit of the Inner Circular Route. The parking lot adjacent to Tokyo Tower charges ¥600 for the first hour and ¥300 for each additional 30 minutes. The parking lot is open from 9:00 to 23:00, with the latest entry at 22:30. Bicycle parking is available inside the south-side parking lot.
