Train
From Hakata Station in Fukuoka, take the JR Chikuhi Line towards Chikuzen-Maebaru. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Itoshima Station. Once you arrive at Itoshima Station, exit the station and you will find local buses or taxis available. If you want to explore the area on foot, you can walk towards the beach, which is about a 20-minute walk straight down the main road.
Bus
From Tenjin Bus Terminal in Fukuoka, take the Nishitetsu Bus No. 100 bound for Itoshima. The journey takes around 50 minutes. Get off at the Itoshima stop, which is near the beach area. From there, you can explore the nearby attractions by walking along the coastline.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a rental shop in Fukuoka City. Head towards the coastline, following the signs for Itoshima. The ride is about 15 kilometers and will take roughly 1 hour. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way as you approach Itoshima.
