A Day in Nagasaki
Shannon provided an extensive and very private tour of Nagasaki. We began with a visit to the Atomic Bomb Museum. From there we traveled in Shannon's van through the countryside to the Hario Towers and the Eternal Cave. These are interesting and significant sites pertaining to WWII events that most people don't know about but are fascinating to see. We visited the Umegae Brewery which was founded in 1787 and tasted the most delicious sake. We highly recommend Shannon as a guide.

Shannon is not only an excellent guide, he is a really nice person and very accommodating. He provided a very extensive and detailed tour. He shared his love of Japan, the people and culture with pride and joy; he added personal stories of his background and family which made our time with him very pleasurable and special. Customized Itoshima Photogenic Tour
Great private tour to Itoshima
Excellent value! We had a 7-hour tour with Keita as our guide and a private driver, which makes it super convenient. I had a few key attractions in mind and Keita also took the initiative to bring us to a couple of others - Ito Sai-Sai farmer's market which was such an eye-opener, and Totoro's Forest. Admittedly it was a bit rushed at some attractions but that was largely because of the weather - it was a really cold and windy day! The vehicle was comfortable, we had the most pleasant conversations, and Keita helped us take some great photos (we LOVED the ones at the white Torri gate and the couple's rock). All in all a superb experience that we would highly recommend.
