If you are starting from Fukuoka Airport, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Nakasu-Kawabata. Get off at Hakata Station, which is the 5th stop (about 5-8 minutes). From Hakata Station, exit through the Chikushi Exit. Once you are outside, you will see the signs for Hakata Old Town Area. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the station.

From Tenjin Station, take the Nanakuma Line towards Hashimoto. Transfer at Takamiya Station to the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Nakasu-Kawabata. Get off at Hakata Station.
