Alternatively, take a Nishitetsu bus to Ohori Koen (Maizuru). From Ohori Koen Station, it's a 10-15 minute walk to the castle ruins. Subway fare from Hakata Station to Ohori Koen Station is approximately ¥260. Nishitetsu bus fares vary depending on the distance.

    From Tenjin Station, walk west for approximately 20 minutes to reach Maizuru Park and the Fukuoka Castle Ruins. Follow the signs towards Ohori Park and Maizuru Park. The entrance to the castle ruins is within Maizuru Park. This is a free and scenic way to approach the castle.

    Taxis are readily available throughout Fukuoka. A taxi from Hakata Station to Fukuoka Castle Ruins takes approximately 6 minutes and costs between ¥1900 and ¥2400.
