Getting There

Subway

The Tenjin Underground Mall is directly connected to the Tenjin Station on the Kuko Line and the Tenjin-Minami Station on the Nanakuma Line. From Hakata Station, take the Kuko Line to Tenjin Station (approximately 11 minutes). From Fukuoka Airport, take the Kuko Line to Tenjin Station. Subway fares are based on distance, but expect to pay around ¥200-300 for a short trip within the city. A one-day subway pass is available for ¥640.
Bus

The Nishitetsu Tenjin Bus Center is located near the Tenjin Underground Mall. Several bus lines stop at Tenjin, providing access from various parts of Fukuoka. From Hakata Station Bus Terminal, take a bus heading towards Tenjin and get off at Tenjin Minami, Nishitetsu Bus Terminal Mae, Solaria Plaza, or Tenjin Kita bus stops. Bus fares within Fukuoka city typically start at ¥100.
Walking

The Tenjin Underground Mall is located beneath the Tenjin area, a major commercial and entertainment district in Fukuoka. If you are already in Tenjin, simply follow the signs for the Tenjin Underground Mall or Tenjin Chikagai. The mall has numerous entrances located throughout the area, including those within major department stores and office buildings.
Taxi

Taxis are readily available throughout Fukuoka. A taxi from Hakata Station to Tenjin will cost approximately ¥2,500 and take 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. From Fukuoka Airport to Tenjin, expect to pay around ¥2,500. Taxi fares start at ¥580, with an additional ¥325 per kilometer. Be aware that fares may increase during late-night hours.
Parking

Parking is available at the Tenjin Underground Shopping Center Parking. There are two parking areas, North and South. The parking fee is ¥270 per 30 minutes. The maximum fee from 16:00 to 9:00 is ¥1000. Several other parking lots are located in the Tenjin area. However, public transportation is recommended due to limited parking and potential congestion.
