  • Car

    From Harima, take Route 2 (also known as the Honshu Expressway) and head towards Awaji Island. Follow the signs for the Awaji Island via the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge. The bridge toll is approximately 2,600 yen for a standard car. Once on Awaji Island, continue on Route 28. After about 25 minutes, look for signs directing you to Awaji World Park Onokoro, located at 8-5 Shiotaniijima, Awaji, Hyogo 656-2142. The park is well-marked, and you should find parking available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    Start at Harima Station and take the JR Sanyo Line towards Himeji. Transfer at Himeji Station to the JR Kobe Line and travel towards Sannomiya. At Sannomiya Station, switch to the Hankyu Bus bound for Awaji Island. The bus fare is approximately 1,200 yen. After about an hour, get off at the Awaji World Park Onokoro bus stop. The park entrance is a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Combination of Train and Bus

    From Harima, take the JR Sanyo Line to Akashi Station. At Akashi Station, transfer to the bus bound for Awaji Island. The bus fare is around 1,000 yen. Once you reach Awaji Island, stay on the bus until you reach the Awaji World Park Onokoro stop. The total travel time is approximately 1.5 hours, including transfers.
